About Me:
My name is Yessly Camunez. I am 19 years old! I joined DSP my first semester here at New Mexico State University and have not regretted my decision since. I am currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in finance and am loving it so far! Currently I hold an executive position in DSP and the Finance Management Association here at NMSU. I absolutely love being involved around campus and am currently working in the Comptroller Department with ASNMSU! In my free time, I like to research current topics and factors that influence the stock market!
Favorite DSP Pillar:
Professionalism is my favorite DSP Pillar without a doubt. Professionalism is extremely important because it fosters trust, respect, and credibility in any workplace or industry. Professionalism reflects personal integrity and dedication, which are essential for career growth and building strong professional connections!
My Leadership Role:
As the Chancellor, my role involves presiding over chapter meetings and ensuring the smooth operation of activities! My duties also include overseeing the chapter's discipline process and serving as the chair of the Chapter Standards Committee. As Chancellor, you are acting as a role model by exemplifying the values and principles of Delta Sigma Pi. As soon as elections and positions opened up, I knew this was the role I wanted to pursue. This position has allowed me to maintain a positive chapter culture by emphasizing ethics and professional behavior!
